A Rescue Dog And Her Handler Who Worked At Ground Zero During 9/11 Were Honored With An Amazing Day

This is Denise Corliss and her dog Bretagne. They were both members of Texas Task Force 1, an urban search and rescue team who deploy to disaster sites to search for survivors.

Their first deployment together was at Ground Zero in the wake of the September 11 attacks. The two worked tirelessly on what started as a search and rescue mission, but soon became a recovery operation.
