Watch your ass!
Ever been absolutely terrified of the thought of finding a live rat in your toilet? Well, it happens and the people over at National Geographic show us how.
First, rats can easily make their way to residential pipes through tunnels. With sharp claws, the rats can cling on to and climb most surfaces.
Rats are also really flexible. If they can fit their head in an opening, the rest of their bodies can squeeze through as well. That's because a rat's ribs and bone structure are hinged, allowing it to constrict and collapse.
So your plumbing pipes are no obstacle.
